A PROJECT THAT PAYS FOR COOPERATION
The welfare of a society depends on each and every one of the entities that are part of it; The Supervigilance project demonstrated how the private and public sector can work hand in hand for a vital aspect such as security, based on constant interaction between organizations such as the police, intelligence centers and private security posts at the national level.
CHALLENGE
Create a scalable, manageable and secure information system that will also contact government entities.
SOLUTION
Development of information system in JAVA language under ITIL and PMI methodologies for optimal development of the project.
RESULT
RENOVA information system, which manages the information of the associates of the Superintendence of Surveillance.
CHALLENGE
In 2011, the Logistics Agency of the Military Forces opened a public call to find a company that will develop an information system that would allow the Superintendence of Vigilance to do the due follow-up to the nearly five thousand assigned users, and most importantly, to have with precise location data to create a network that will work hand in hand with the public force in the preservation of citizen security.
Within the proponents, we stand out for the experience, vision and interest in a constant communication that would allow you to meet the requirements of the project, understand the operation of the entity to create a solution focused on growth and continuous improvement.
SOLUTION
Making use of methodologies such as ITIL and PMI, our team developed in the JAVA language, the information system of the News Report of the RENOVA Vigilantes, which is still in force and centralizes the information of all the companies that provide security services such as they are surveillance companies, private security and securities transport.
°The system records the traceability of the entire operation of the monitored entities who must report their activities to the Supervigilancia, who in turn, verifies that the requirements for their operation are up to date and accredited, such as: Permits and credentials for portability of weapons, permit for canine escort, certification of private security course or permission to transport securities.
°Within the execution of the project, the creation of a help desk was proposed to support the Supervigilance personnel in the implementation and adaptation phase of RENOVA; It also allowed to typify and quantify the incidents that were presented by users to make management and strategic decisions in order to profile the system according to the needs of the entity and preventing future requirements that will affect its functionality.
°RENOVA allows the interconnection between surveillance companies, National Police and intelligence centers to deal with events that may alter public order and collaborate with the security of Colombians.
